7. Bridge Street

The original City Bridge was rebuilt in the Ninth Century by Bishop (later Saint) Swithun, and has been restored since then. To the left you will see the City Mill, and to the right a path and riverside garden originally called 'Wolvesey Slips', but now known as 'The Weirs'.
